Nikki Rathbone
APA titled Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist
Nikki has experience working in a variety of areas over the past 13 years including elite and recreational sport, women’s health, headache and migraine management, chronic pain and occupational health/ergonomics. She is passionate about uncovering the root cause of her patient’s problems and working with them to achieve a long-term solution.
She has completed a Masters of Sports Physiotherapy through La Trobe University in 2018, and she is a Level 3 Watson Certified Practitioner in the Watson Headache Approach.
Nikki has progressed her teaching to now lead the education of GEMt Dry Needling Level 1. She also assists with other GEMt courses and has provided clinical education and supervision for students through several universities.
Nikki has been a volunteer on several committees for the Australian Physiotherapy Association for 8 years and is currently a part of their pilot program for providing mentorship for new graduate therapists.

Interests:
Nikki enjoys playing and watching sports of all types. She has played netball for over 20 years and also enjoys playing golf and walking her 2 beautiful Labradors. When she isn’t watching her kids play sport, she loves to go camping in the caravan with her family on weekends.
