Mal Fayers


Mal graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Australian Catholic University in 2018. For the past five years, Mal has worked with Brothers Rugby Union Club as a sports trainer, providing player preparation and injury management on game day, as well as rehabilitation for injured players in season. Mal has also assisted in screening days for QLD Reds Player Development Pathways for the past two years and will be expanding his sports & general physiotherapy experience with RHP in 2019 and beyond.


With a passion for sports and musculoskeletal physiotherapy, Mal brings a friendly, patient-first, holistic approach to assist you with reaching your goals in short and long-term through patient-driven goal setting, movement analysis, and identification & treatment of the root cause of pain.

A former high level Australian rules footballer, as well as rugby union player and cricketer, Mal has experience in elite sport and understands the needs of high level athletes.


Outside of work, Mal is a keen fisherman and loves travelling, having ventured through Europe, North America, Africa and Asia and with plans for many more countries to visit. Mal also enjoys playing tennis and golf, and watching as much sport as possible.
