Mal Fayers


Mal graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Australian Catholic University. Since joining RHP Physiotherapy in 2019, Mal has brought his friendly, patient-first, holistic approach to assist you in reaching your goals. With a passion for musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy, Mal will identify and treat the root cause of your pain, allowing you to improve your quality of life and maximise your performance.

Mal is currently the head physio for the Brisbane Bandits of the Australian Baseball League and The Gap FC playing in the Women’s National Premier League. Mal also works with the u17 and u19 QLD Netball teams in preparation for the National Championships. Previously, Mal has been a physio for the QLD AFL Team and worked with Brothers Rugby Union Club in the QLD Premier Rugby Competition, whilst also assisting the QLD Reds in their player development pathways.

  • Shoulder and elbow injuries
  • Chronic pain
  • Post-operative rehabilitation

As former high level Australian rules footballer, Mal has first-hand experience in elite sport and understands the needs of athletes.


Outside of work, Mal is a keen fisherman and loves travelling. Mal also enjoys playing tennis and golf and watching as much sport as humanly possible.
