PHYSIO CORE Exercise Classes - Monday 6pm to 7pm

It’s no secret that exercise and activity are essential for living a healthy life, however sometimes it is difficult to know what type of exercise is best to do!

Exercise classes offered at RHP Physiotherapy are suitable for a range of conditions, injuries and people (of all ages). Our classes are run by a Physiotherapist and are individualised. This means the exercises you are doing will be specific to your needs in helping you achieve your goals. Because of this, exercise class is particularly beneficial for sufferers of chronic conditions, back pain, recovery from surgery and injury and much more. But you don't have to be injured to benefit from the Physio Core Classes. As they say, prevention is better than cure - the Physio Core Class is available and suitable to anyone who is keen to work on improving their core.

What our classes offer:

  • We utilise Pilates principles and exercises for 'core' muscle stability and strength
  • Target co-ordination, balance and movement skill training
  • Aim to correct muscle imbalances leading to improved movement efficiency
  • Use equipment such as wobble boards, Janda sandals, exercise balls, BOSU, free form and many more.
This offers a variety of exercises in a class.
  • Focus on self help principles for on-going improvement and management

Some classes particularly cater for an older exercise group focusing on balance, co-ordination, posture and strength.  These core skills are particularly important for keeping you mobile and reducing risk of falls whilst decreasing pain in the spine, hips, knees, ankles and shoulders.

In a fun, sociable atmosphere, the staff at RHP Physiotherapy will expertly guide you to correctly and safely help your body obtain better health.   At RHP we are focused on the quality of exercises performed and hence limit class sizes to cater for appropriate attention to all class members.

If you have any questions regarding the suitability of these classes (or would just like to talk to somebody about them), please Contact Us. Maximum of 6-8 participants per class.
