Naomi is excited to join the team at RHP Physiotherapy as a remedial massage therapist. She completed her Diploma in Remedial Massage with the Australian College of Massage (now Evolve College) in 2015 and has privately worked with a wide range of clients from sporting injuries to chronic pain sufferers with the goal of functional maintenance. Her areas of interest are:

  • Supportive management of sports injuries
  • Maintenance of functional health
  • Stress management
  • Chronic disease & pain

Naomi has volunteered in Vietnam and Nepal working with children in care affected by HIV/AIDS and significant disability, providing therapeutic massage. The purpose of the program was to provide massage to children who have never been exposed to nurturing benefits of massage; assisting in the management of pain, distress and isolation.

Naomi also has 10 years' experience working as a registered nurse in the areas of Oncology & Palliative Care, as well as a post graduate diploma in palliative care and chronic disease management. This provides her with an increased awareness to the importance of self-care and tailoring massage treatment to clients with chronic & terminal illnesses.

Naomi believes massage should be nurturing and supportive in the ongoing management and maintenance of functional health and wellbeing. Naomi is passionate about holistic and cohesive care and believes in the power of massage therapy to provide balance in both physical and mental health.

Naomi is very excited to have the opportunity to join the team at RHP and hopes to meet you and to share with you the wonderful benefits of massage. Naomi is available at Kelvin Grove on Mondays and Corinda Tuesdays.
