Elyse graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Queensland in 2012, is currently studying her Masters of Sports Physiotherapy through Latrobe University and is expected to complete this in 2017.

Since graduating, Elyse has worked in a private practice environment predominately working with musculoskeletal and sports injuries, and rehabilitation of patients post-operatively from Orthopaedic surgeries. Elyse has a keen interest in both fields of Sports and Musculoskeletal physiotherapy and is dedicated to her professional development and the ongoing pursuit of excellence in order to offer patients the most effective and up to date treatments.

Elyse has an interest in diagnosing and correcting biomechanical issues through specific hands-on treatment and sports-specific exercise prescription. She is passionate about seeing her patients achieve their desired outcomes, whether that be improved quality of life or function, decreased pain, or improving and optimising performance and training for athletes or weekend warriors. Her treatment often involves the safe and effective implementation of dry needling techniques.

Elyse has been involved in a variety of sports teams and associations, providing services as:

  • Head Physiotherapist for NPL Football Club Western Pride FC
  • Physiotherapist for U17 QLD Netball Team
  • Physiotherapy services for Professional Goalkeeper Tuition
  • Physiotherapy services for FC11

Elyse is passionate about exercise and encouraging activity. She has an interest in all sports, having played soccer for 15 years, tennis, surfing, netball and anything she could try! She completed the Paris Marathon in 2014 (albeit slowly), and currently enjoys running and boxing. Her passion outside of work is travelling and seeing as much of the world as possible.
