Daniel is a dedicated physiotherapist with 12 years experience as an accomplished musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy professional. He completed his Bachelor’s degree of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) in 2003 at the University Of Sydney. After Spending 1 year grounding his skills at Bankstown Hospital, Daniel returned to his home town of Darwin to take up a position at a leading private practice located at the Darwin Private Hospital.

Working at this practice for over 10 years, Daniel developed a strong and extensive background in musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy, acute and rehabilitation care of hospital inpatients, work cover cases, pre-employment and sports screening, injury prevention programs, water and land based therapy classes, chronic pain management, and  sports team coverage. In 2014-2015 Daniel had the opportunity to become part of the Newmont Gold Mine Operations in the Tanami Desert as a FIFO Physiotherapist. There he was contracted to help develop and integrate a Physiotherapist role into the existing injury prevention and management system, an area of expertise previously not available at the mine site.

Being well regarded in the community and his peers, Daniel has worked with a numerous elite state and local sporting teams including the Territory Storm in the Australia Netball League (2009-2011), NT state hockey at Australian national championships (2012-2015), Darwin Buffaloes - NTFL (2005-2014), and coverage for NEAFL, NBL and u/21 Australian Hockey. Currently he is the Physiotherapist for the Western Magpies Australian Football Club and the Brisbane Knights Football Club.

Daniel has always had the mindset of not just treating pain. Analysing the patient thoroughly and holistically to determine the underlying cause of dysfunction, he has successfully motivated, rehabilitated, improved performance and prevented the reccurrence of injuries of his clients. Taking the patient through the whole process of injury recovery from the day they walked into the clinic or exited the operating theatre, to triumphantly putting their feet back into the working world or sporting arena.

Daniel is now excited to be working in Brisbane as part of the accomplished and dynamic RHP Physiotherapy Team. He is looking forward to working with you to develop excellent client relationships, ensuring accurate diagnosis with tailor made treatment, education and exercise program to ensure outstanding outcomes.
